The Real Gift Wasn't Just the Toy

The toy was everything she'd hoped for. What she didn't expect was everything else that came with it...

It is natural to think of the toys as the gifts Lovense gives us. But the secret is that more gifts are hidden inside the app. Which is the most meaningful? I have a few contenders. You can decide which one means the most to you.

First is Bond. Lovense Bond is the community space inside the Lovense remote app. It is where users can share stories, ask questions, trade advice, and connect with people who are open to talking about sex, intimacy, and relationships. For me, that makes it a gift of its own. The bond gives us a unique opportunity to build a sex-positive community where we can educate one another, share advice and ideas, and celebrate the full spectrum of sexual experiences in sincere or playful ways.

Together, we could create something genuinely special: a place where people feel safe enough to ask questions, exchange perspectives, and let go of the shame society places around conversations about sexuality. It will require us to grow, report and block people who work against that goal, and be patient. This will not happen overnight, and it needs enough of us to keep trying.

The next gift is the chance to make extraordinary, if sometimes fleeting, connections. Lovense lets you connect with and feel close to someone on the other side of the world.A person you might never otherwise have met can become the one you talk to most, even changing how you see life. Lovense can connect you with someone who makes you feel unlike anyone else. That does not mean you have to put a ring on it. It simply means you shared an extraordinary connection and made memories worth keeping. Those connections can be playful or romantic, but they can also become friendships.

The third gift is the chance to discover more about ourselves: what works, what does not, and sometimes something deeper. With lower infection risk and anonymous long-distance interactions, provided we follow basic internet safety, we can explore with many different people.
